I traveled to Oman in January 2026 for 5 nights. Muscat, Jebel Shams and Wahiba Sands were some of the destinations that I've visited in Oman.
Situated in southeastern Arabian Peninsula in West Asia, Oman has a very diverse landscape. From beautiful coasts of Gulf of Oman to huge sand dunes, mountains and Wadis.
In the night sky images, the prominent subjects are Winter constellations, such as Orion and Canis Major, Canopus, the second brightest star in the night sky, and Carina nebula. I used long-exposure for star trails images (10-20 minutes) to capture a more natural view.
